Of Loud Distorted Solos and Soft Acoustic Rings.
Theres so much for me to say, theres so many things that I know not how to describe. Attending those rock concerts makes me feel so much better to be who I am, rather than who I am not. When everyone's moshing away in that big pile, its better to stay at the front gallery, where everything can be seen, where I'm far away from that stupid crowd.
Deathcon 7 was kinda fun yet kinda boring. The bands were pretty interesting to watch, specifically plushfools, which is the first concert I'm attending since I knew them while they were recording their songs. Their also the first band which I have seen go on stage on slippers. Zach was amazing though, with him dancing around the stage even though he's got a cough and stuff.
Sour Grapes was also another interesting band, a band that Visa told me was a good band. Their songs were like a mix of Punk and Rock, but more to the rock side. I still don't get the word "Indie", but I think its something along that line. Their lead singer had a really awesome voice though, and his hair is really awesome too. Its really looks like a man with a hairball for a head.
The first time I've ever heard Leeson, but that band, is sensational. Even though an old-man band, it really is a good band. They look like U2, and play songs like U2, and the lead singer went on stage with a gin and tonic in his hand. Though somewhat lack of showmanship for and Indie band, it was good nonetheless, they made it up with their original songs.
Shyam Raj's voice was good, but his guitar playing lacked depth, it was really playing rock music on an acoustic guitar. I didn't really liked it much, and Plushfools were playing at the same time, so it was in and out between the two, and I like Plushfools better. Shyam Raj has showmanship, voice but he's not suited for the acoustic scene. He's better off as a Rockstar.
Visa was drunk. I doubt he actually knew what he was doing anyway, but at least for a good half of his set, his voice was enough. But playing bass and singing really isn't the thing right? I supposed an acoustic show would have been better if him and Ryan were on stage, at least there is a bass and an acoustic, it wouldn't have been so empty.
The guy, Tony Alderman, was really good for an acoustic set. His originals were very nice, with very simple cords with a capo. Doubled with emotions, his audience was only four, but I think he put on a good show for those who actually stayed to listen. I think his set was the best for acoustic, and I'd love to see more of his shows and stuff.
Though, the moshing was quite disturbing, and the metal music and the satanism relatively boring. Though, I really wonder whats with all this angst and such where u have to push and let push to show some violence, and people get hurt and stuff, is it supposed to be fun, I wonder. Its just quite sad to see them that way.
Exiting DXO, saw Allura perform outside Cineleisure at the Lime Sonic Bang Preview. Their Vocalist looks pretty hot close up, probably she got that figure with the immense amount of dancing on stage that they do. I think I remember her to be quite plump when I saw her at Crush@Top5.
I didn't get a chance to get the Lime Sonic Bang T-shirt, or a Mosh pit pass, or a CD. Well, who cares. Gotta buy their album to support them right? I think I shall go and buy the album of the bands I think are nice, like Fire Fight, Armchair, West Grand, Allura and some others. Aww, but I do want that green T-shirt.
Talking to you again just makes me realise how much I actually miss you. Will I treasure my chances? Will I ever make it there? I don't think I know, do I? When I say I miss you, I really mean that you're a part of me that I'm missing. Its an empty space, that only u can fill.
For the hope that burns in your eyes. - Fires at Night - The Fire Fight
